Fall - Time to Change YOUR Leaves?

This articles gives the reader six tips for changing long term behavior - anything from losing weight to dealing with clutter.

Fall is one of my favorite times of yearthe temp starts dropping, the air gets crisp, the trees put on a glorious display of colorI love it! I also think it’s a great time to drop what’s not working for you. If trees can let go of every leaf, why can’t we let go of what no longer serves us? Here are some possibilities: excess weight, too much clutter, bad relationships, bad habits, bad debt. Just how long are you planning on carrying those dead leaves around? And you know that you can’t grow any new leaves with those dead leaves blocking all the sunshine.

Kitchen Pot Rack - Who?s Back Hurts?

We all could use more space and less bending down in our kitchens. More organization and less clutter in our kitchen would be an improvement that we are all looking for. Here is the answer to the problem.

Earlier in the week I had just finished washing the dishes and I was putting them away in my cabinets. It felt like I was playing Russian roulette with my pots and pans. I had just stacked and unstacked the last pot when a shearing pain tore through my back. That made me realize I had enough. There must be a better way of storing these essential items. After I called my husband to come and help me up, I started my research.

Overcome The Overwhelm Of All There Is To Do

Do you feel overwhelmed by all there is to do? Between getting organized, meal planning, grocery shopping, errands, appointments and everyday chores it can all feel like too much!

I’d like to share a simple technique for overcoming the overwhelm. Ready? Grab a pen, paper and your calendar and let’s get started.

**Step 1** Take a few minutes and write a long list of everything that is on your mind. Do not edit your list; do not try too hard to categorize your list. Simply write. Write down everything from what you have to do, what you have to remember, and whatever else is going on.

Decluttering & Creativity

Intuitively the link between decluttering and creativity makes sense doesn’t it? Creativity thrives in the land of new ideas and open thinking, while clutter tends to be characterised by clinging on to old ideas, attitudes, habits and possessions. In order to free yourself up to be fabulously creative, you often need to be prepared to let go of the clutter first. Inspiration is unlikely to emerge unless you’ve created a space for it.
