Viral Meningitis May Cause Fatal Brain Injury

Scientists have recently discovered that viral infections, such as meningitis, may be causing more traumatic brain injury harm that once thought. Researchers are looking into the severe trauma that infections are causing on the brain including an exploding of blood vessels.

Recently, an issue of the journal Nature noted that there has been a shift regarding deadly infections that may actually be causing the development of fatal brain injuries and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in addition to other serious side effects.
