Amazing Ebook Creation - How To Make Your Ebook From Scratch!
Creating an eBook requires discipline and planning since publishers are always on the look out for a well-prepared and well-written eBook as this ensures greater chances they’ll earn big from it too.
Should you not be interested in submitting your eBook to well-known publishers, self-publishing is always an available option to try that’s more profitable, although would require more effort on your side.
Here’s how to make your eBook from scratch:
1. Implement the Article Writing Process – Any piece of literature—whether fiction or nonfiction—should always follow the writing process. This involves:
a. Identify your topic – Trim down what you want to write about for clarity and unity. Talking about so many things will just show your bookwas not well-thought of.
b. Choose one or two major points from your topic – Further breakdown your topic into major points and pick one or two that you’d like to focus on in your book. You can identify major points by doing web semantics.
c. Identify your target audience – Knowing who your readers are will make it easy to identify the kind of approach and writing style you’ll implement in your book for the presentation of your topic at hand.
d. Meet your target audience’s needs through your topic – Make sure you highlight the benefits your eBook will have for your target readers throughout the book. Don’t preach or do hard sell as these can really turnoff your reader.
2. Design your packaging – All products should have the right packaging. For your eBook, this entails having a well-designed cover backed-up by the parts of a regular book such as a title page, introduction, table of contents, and references or appendices.
3. Determine the price of your eBook either by putting in together the number of man-hours you’ve spent doing it, etc.
4. Deliver in a standard format – Most eBooks online are in PDF format as this is a widely accepted digital format due to the convenience it brings readers.
5. Market it! - With your eBook done, the process of marketing it and selling it to your target audience begins. You should know where your target readers often go to in the World Wide Web so you’ll know where you can advertise your eBook. Emailing to friends and families, may be helpful but having a website would be a good thing to start with for your eBook’s promotion.
